Nature has a way of helping you increase your serotonin which can improve your positive feelings and self-esteem. Consider taking your loved one for a walk in an area of natural beauty near where they live. You might even discover hidden gems you did not know existed. You will both return feeling relaxed, yet energized and ready to take on new challenges. Getting in touch with nature is an amazingly effective way to destress and leave your troubles behind.

You can find volunteer opportunities online. Helping people is extremely rewarding. It is a good way to keep your loved one active, and they might even make some new friends. Volunteering can also help them to feel useful again and this will boost their confidence.

You might even get them using technology or teach them something new.
