Access the comprehensive guide of state Medicaid programs (elder care, housing options, and long term care) with individual eligibility requirements.

Senior Planning provides a broad state guide for Medicaid long term care programs nationwide. This resource is free and is compiled by Senior Planning employees. Please use the guide and the supplemental resources provided as an assistive tool to determine the kinds of programs and care that might be available to you. Medicaid programs are very detailed and as the scope of this tool is not all encompassing, we recommend that anyone applying seeks help from local experts before taking action based on the information we provide.

Since so many factors play a role in the total amount of your SSDI/SSI benefits, predicting the exact dollar amount of your benefits is no small feat. On the other hand, it is fairly simple to come up with an estimate based on your age, the amount you have paid into social security, and other factors.    By using the calculator below, you'll get an estimate of your monthly and annual Social Security disability or SSI benefits.

NELF's Certified Elder Law Attorney designation is itself certified by the American Bar Association. There are nearly 500 CELAs across the country, and our numbers are growing steadily.

Health Insights and Hospital Compare VA

Quality outcomes and indicators include areas of falls and hospital re-admission rates which are generally publicly reported. In particular you might take a special interest in whether your hospital of choice is above or below the local and national rates for infections. Two excellent resources for researching hospital quality indicators are Health Insights for public hospitals or Hospital Compare VA to compare quality indicators if you are accessing healthcare as a Veteran or active duty member of the military.
